The publication accompanies the exhibition of the same title, which presents works by one master of European documentary photography. Bruno Barbey, a member of the Magnum cooperative, changed the face of the genre by experimenting with colour, light and framing. The book includes reproductions of his most famous, now-classic shots taken in various parts of the world. Especially notable is a section that contains photographs taken in Poland and Ukraine in the 1980s.
