Debate accompanies the exhibition “Solstice. Nordic Painting 1880–1910”
The Embassies of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, in cooperation with the National Museum in Warsaw, invite you to the meeting "A Journey Up North. An introduction to the world of Nordic painting and the Solstice exhibition".
The most important themes of the exhibition "Solstice. Nordic Painting 1880-1910" will be discussed by representatives of leading institutions of the Nordic art world and the curators of the exhibition.
The meeting will be attended by:
Anna-Maria von Bonsdorff, chief curator, Ateneum Art Museum, Finnish National Gallery
Gertrud Oelsner, director of the Hirschsprung Collection in Copenhagen (Den Hirschprungske Samling)
Patrick Steorn, director of the Gothenburg Art Museum (Göteborgs konstmuseum)
Øystein Ustvedt, curator, Oslo National Museum (Nasjonalmuseet)
Agnieszka Bagińska and Wojciech Głowacki - curators of the "Solstice" exhibition, National Museum of Warsaw
The meeting will be moderated by Agnieszka Drotkiewicz - a cultural expert, writer and journalist.

Participation: Free admission. The meeting will be held in English with simultaneous translation into Polish (headphones).
