GUIDED TOURS / Olga Boznańska – a painter at the turn of the century / Oprowadzanie w języku angielskim
Saturday / 1pm
tour guide: Emilia Maryniak
Olga Boznańska was an artist with an individual style of work. Her original technique and way of thinking about art, translated into a unique atmosphere and depth in her paintings. All of this, however, was made possible by the wider cultural changes that took place in both the artistic and social spheres. Krakow, Munich and, above all, Paris, were places of endless discussions about art, into which the question of women's emancipation was becoming more and more prominent. The guided tour will look at the milieu in which Olga Boznańska lived and worked, but also at the unique nature of her work.
Tickets will be available at the ticket office and online starting 16th of September.
